On the other side of this issue—at least, I think it’s supposed to be an opposing side—we have the autistards who wanna blame autism on, you know, everything.
In their way, they’re the same as the autistards striving and failing to be autistic. They want to be autistic. Because then they’ll be smart. But, also, they want autism to be a curse as well as a gift, so they need someone or something to blame for causing the autism they haven’t got. And that’s just weird.
Enter immunisation. Which is a laughriot. You’ll get that in a minute. But it’s something to blame for causing autism in neurotypical autistards because…erm…did we ever think up anything to call causation at all? I seriously don’t remember what it was supposed to have been.
I mean: we know that immunisation causes autism. But…did anyone explain how it does that? Did anyone actually conclude that? At all? Yeah, I know: kids get shots and go home and become autistic. So…how’d they get home? In a car? With child safety seats? So, child safety seats cause autism, or—oh: immunisation causes autism. By precisely the same criteria that seats cause autism: they were around at about the same time. Whoopty shit.
Here’s the laughriot, by the way. I’ll allow for about half a second that immunisation might cause autism. Here’s what I want to know: within your makebelieve, are we pretending that only immunisation causes autism? Like, that’s what caused mine?
